Nearly six years ago, the Kelly family entrusted our family with something they had built with great care — Kelly Bros. Lumber & Design. That transition was never just a business transaction. It was a passing of the torch from one family to another, with a shared commitment to keeping this business exactly what it has always been: family owned, family operated, and deeply rooted in the community it serves.
Brandon Coppage was part of that legacy from day one. As Vice President & General Manager, Brandon helped shape everything we built together in the years following the acquisition. His leadership, dedication, and deep connection to this business have been invaluable, and he leaves having made a lasting mark on Kelly Bros. As he moves on to his next chapter, we celebrate everything he has contributed and wish him nothing but success.
At the same time, we are proud and excited to announce that Alex Raicevich steps into the role of Vice President & General Manager. Alex joined us shortly after the acquisition with the intention of learning this business from the ground up — and that is exactly what he has done. A Xavier University graduate, Alex holds both his undergraduate degree and MBA from Xavier, bringing a strong academic foundation to go along with the hands-on experience he has gained here over the years.
Beyond his professional credentials, Alex is exactly the kind of person you want leading an organization. He has earned the trust and respect of our employees, our vendors, and the broader community we are honored to serve. His energy, intellect, and character speak for themselves. Alex is also a proud husband to Halle and father to their two young children, Leo and Lydia — he is rooted in this community in every sense of the word.
This is not a new beginning — it is a natural step forward. The values, relationships, and commitment to quality that have always defined Kelly Bros. remain at the center of everything we do.
We are proud of where we have been. We are even more excited about where we are going.
— Dan Magarian, Owner & President, Kelly Bros. Lumber & Design
